The Museum of Communication in Frankfurt has a long tradition as a postal museum. From summer 2025, the museum’s extensive art collection will be on display for the first time alongside the permanent collection.
Based on the four thematic areas of the permanent exhibition, I worked with studio otenso to develop a visual guidance system based on different graphic arrows. These appear in six color combinations and guide visitors through the exhibition rooms on flags, posters and object panels. Individual arrow variants — symbolizing movement, communication and networking — were developed for each of the six content areas.
